African Names Rock was born from a simple yet powerful question: "What if our names and countries were front and center on the clothes we wear?"
For years, we watched people proudly wear other flags and brands while African names stayed hidden. Many African Americans and diaspora youth either didn't know their African names, never saw them represented, or only found generic "African" designs that didn't speak to their specific story.
We created this brand to change that—to make African heritage visible, celebrated, and worn with pride, especially by people in the diaspora who rarely see their culture reflected in mainstream fashion.
